Spookster Screening 001/???: Mockingbird LaneJust viewed this for the first time.
I am not sure how I forgot to check it out when it originally aired, perhaps I didn’t have a TV at the time. I quite liked it, honestly. Obviously, it’s almost completely different than the original source material, but if you go in accepting that it’s a great take on the concept. I’ve been a fan of Bryan Fuller’s stuff for some years now, so perhaps there is a tinge of bias between that and my love of The Munsters.

Halloween Film/TV Countdown

Now that All Hallows’ Eve is creeping closer and closer, it’s time to crank up the viewing of the good stuff! Mind you, I watch these things year ‘round. This time of year it should be a goal to watch something daily if possible. A few times a week at least.

I will be documenting my film/TV Halloween countdown via the tag “spookster screening”, feel free to either follow or block as you see fit.

For those who want to join in, watch your favourite films or TV episodes that are Halloween themed, or put you in the mood. There are no guidelines beyond that, really.

Feel free to post reviews of what you watch, why you watch a favourite film over and over again, or why you picked a film that maybe most don’t see as Halloween related at all. Have fun with it, make it your own! If you want to share a film or TV show with others, you can also post links to appropriate sources.

If you’d like to join in, use the tag. Happy haunting!

Sometimes spending all of your money on Halloween and Autumn themed curios is the best self-care one can ask for.
